Scott Hamlin / Looptworks
Scott is the co-founder and CEO of Looptworks, a Portland company that repurposes abandoned materials into meaningful, long-lasting, and limited edition products, including clothing and accessories. Looptworks has achieved national distribution and acclaim from an innovative design and production process it calls “upcycling”, which involves creating things with what already exists.
In addition to building a nationally recognized brand and receiving coverage in national outlets such as Entrepreneur Magazine, Good Morning America, and O Magazine, Scott dealt with trademark-based litigation early in his company’s history. He was able to successfully overcome the litigation, and then launched and oversaw the successful re-branding effort.

Eric is the founder and principal of Squishymedia, an interactive media firm serving the needs of community-focused organizations and government entities. Eric has spent fifteen years in interactive media working in a variety of design, technology, and project management roles.
Since founding Squishymedia in 2001, Eric has forged a unique brand identity for the company, creating a name presence in public sector and nonprofit circles and developing a reputation among government agencies large and small.
Kyra Bussanich / Kyra’s Bake Shop
Kyra is a classically-trained baker focused on making gluten-free baked goods and treats that taste better than the gluten ones. She is the founder and owner of Kyra’s Bake Shop in Lake Oswego, a two-time champion of Food Networks’ Cupcake Wars, and the author of a new cookbook, Sweet Cravings: 50 Seductive Desserts for a Gluten-Free Lifestyle.
Kyra recently changed the name of her store from Crave Bake Shop to Kyra’s Bake Shop following a litigated trademark dispute, which she eventually won.
